Use the coverage you’ve earned, before it’s gone.

Most Canadians never use all their paramedical, mental health, and vision benefits. Benloop shows you what’s left, then reminds you while there is still time to use it.

The money left behind

It’s part of your pay. Most of it quietly expires.

$1,300

is what the average covered Canadian leaves on the table every year, at the very least.1 Most plans zero out on December 31, and nothing carries forward.

Extended health coverage that goes unused2Share of a year’s coverage

“It’s essentially like taking a cut out of your paycheque when you leave them on the table.”

Inside your account

More than a number on a screen.

Knowing what’s left is just the first part. Benloop also finds you a clinic, works out whether a partner’s plan can cover what yours does not, keeps a running total of what you paid yourself for tax time, remembers where you go, and tracks your kids’ coverage.

FAQs

Your questions, answered.

The ones we get asked most. If yours is not here, email us and Benloop will reply.

Yes. Your password is never stored, and Benloop's access is read-only. It cannot make a claim, move money, or change anything on your account.

Your benefit information is encrypted with AES-256, the same standard banks and governments use. Your account data is stored on Canadian servers, and your insurance password is never stored at all.

Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, GreenShield, Medavie Blue Cross and Ontario Blue Cross today. Tell us who covers you and we'll add the carriers people ask for most, in that order.

We will email you once, when Benloop is ready for you. Nothing else, and you can reply to be removed at any time.

Usually, yes. If you and your spouse or common-law partner each have a plan through work and each of you is a dependant on the other's, most expenses can be claimed on both. The order matters, and neither insurer will tell you which comes first.

How claiming from two plans works

Never your name, and never your balance. Clinics only ever see totals across a group of patients, and small groups are withheld entirely. A clinic cannot look you up or find out that you specifically have coverage left.

Nothing. Clinics pay us, which is what keeps it free — so the clinics we offer you are ones that subscribe. They never learn your name, your balance, or that you use Benloop.

Whenever you ask. Balances are read in the moment, at your request, which is what keeps your account secure. Refreshing takes one step.

Thirty seconds to see what’s left, before it resets.
